The Zinnov Awards, the longest-running and most prestigious recognition platform for Global Capability Centers (GCCs), returns for its 16th edition. For over a decade and a half, these awards have celebrated outstanding GCCs and visionary leaders driving innovation, excellence, and global impact.
This year, we honor the Titans in Tech - the pioneering India GCCs and the leaders shaping transformative outcomes at a global scale. An esteemed jury of industry experts and thought leaders will evaluate nominations across 10 categories - 8 for organizations and 2 for individuals - designed to reflect the evolution, maturity, and influence of the Indian GCC ecosystem.
Like every year, Zinnov introduces new award categories to reflect the evolving priorities, innovations, and leadership within the GCC ecosystem. This category will assess GCCs on the nature and type of transformation, the drivers, the key milestones, and metrics achieved and the key outcomes – across ER&D, Enterprise IT, and GBS teams.
02GREAT PLACE TO INNOVATEORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award celebrating GCCs that are focused on value creation from India and have made concerted efforts across five key areas: Organization Charter, Culture, Internal Programs & Processes, External Linkages, and Innovation Metrics. The assessment criteria will focus on how conducive the GCC’s environment is for innovation and will also measure the pervasiveness of the innovative mindset and culture.
03EXCELLENCE IN TALENT DEVELOPMENT & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENTORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award recognizing GCCs that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to building a high-performance work culture through strategic talent development and employee engagement initiatives. It includes effective learning programs, leadership development tracks, and innovative engagement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and business impact. The category highlights the use of modern learning platforms, AI-driven training, and inclusive practices to foster continuous growth and a strong sense of belonging among employees. The assessment criteria will focus on the effectiveness and impact of talent development and engagement initiatives, measuring improvements in employee satisfaction, retention, and overall business outcomes.
04HIGH IMPACT GLOBAL ROLESORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award recognizing GCCs that have established and scaled global leadership roles from India by developing strong pipelines, enabled leaders to manage global teams global teams, and contributed to business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation. The category highlights the strategic influence and cross-functional leadership demonstrated by Indian-based global roles. The assessment criteria will focus on the scale and impact of global roles, measuring contributions to business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic influence.
05EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER CENTRICITYORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award that recognizes GCCs that have built the operational and organizational capability to foster a customer-centric culture internally while delivering a positive customer experience externally. It is exclusive to India-based centers serving external customers and does not apply to those supporting HQ/global locations. The assessment criteria will focus on the effectiveness of customer-centric strategies, measuring improvements in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business impact.
06EXCELLENCE IN EMPLOYER BRANDINGORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award recognizing GCCs that have built a strong employer brand and are considered employers of choice. Assessment includes company values, vision, culture, and how effectively these are communicated as part of their Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to existing and potential talent.
07AATMANIRBHAR GCCORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award recognizing organizations that have driven large-scale impact by conceptualizing, designing, developing, and manufacturing products from India. Assessment will focus on key drivers, metrics, milestones, and outcomes of technology innovations across both Software and Hardware products.
08GLOBAL CAPABILITY CHAMPION (ZINNOV NOMINATED)ORGANIZATION-WIDE AWARD
A company-wide award recognizing GCCs that have achieved extraordinary scale, strategic impact, and operational excellence from India. Reserved for those leading complex, high-value global functions, it honours GCCs that have become true hubs of innovation, talent, and capability. As a Zinnov-nominated category, winners are selected through internal evaluation and industry insights, with no nominations required.
09NEXT GENERATION WOMAN LEADERINDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR AWARD
An individual contributor award recognizing women leaders in India who have driven large-scale impact through business, leadership, or technology expertise. It honours those who excel in mentoring talent and inspiring industry excellence, with evaluation based on contributions to individual, organizational, and ecosystem development.
10TECHNICAL ROLE MODELINDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR AWARD
An individual contributor award recognizing technology stalwarts who inspire others to pursue technical careers through their expertise and leadership. This category also honours individuals driving significant impact in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Intelligent Automation.
